Biography

Born in London in 1969 Tim lived in Belfast and Donegal from 1971 to 1989. He successfully completed a foundation course in art at Letterkenny Technical College in Donegal in 1988, including photography studies under Willie Doherty.

Tim then returned to England in 1989 and entered career as a race mechanic, engineer, builder and restorer of historic and modern racing cars. Since 2005 the varied repertoire of skills and knowledge aquired here, in particular carbon fibre composites and metal working, are used to create innovative and technically demanding works of art.

The results of this include works being exhibited in prestigious locations such as the Royal Academy of Arts, Pure Evil Gallery, Mall Galleries (The Threadneedle Prize), Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, Affordable Art Fair, Form, Mark Tattersall Art Consultancy, Steps Gallery and the Lennox Gallery.
